A much-loved family holiday house for the last 30 years the owners now invite guests to enjoy this unique property to create family memories of their own.

We endeavour to reduce our footprint by sourcing water via roof rainwater collection and recycling waste via onsite septic facilities. The house is off the grid with solar power with backup auto start generator and gas hot water.

Athene A - 23rd April 2023Jalscene is a very special place and very exciting discovery! We loved our weekend away here. It was cosy and full of character with such a beautiful garden … even the teens switched off their devices and enjoyed keeping the fires going, bushwalking and board games. Our little dog had a fantastic time tagging along with us to see everything from the cows to the waterfall. Perfect getaway for digital detox, long walks, nature and rest.
