Browns Cottage, a cosy cabin within easy reach of the National Park.
The Space ~The perfect destination for a romantic getaway. Brown's Cottage has everything you could possibly desire to ensure a perfect stay. Brand new Air- Conditioning has you set for the beautiful Spring and Summer seasons in the mountains. Wrap yourselves up in the plush bathrobes and enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fire, we have all the seasons covered! Walk to open gardens or just relax and enjoy the overwhelming variety of bird life that visits the property daily. While visiting Browns Cottage say hi to Bobbie Moore, Jack Charlton and Nobby Stiles our resident lawn mowers (sheep). They are always happy to say hi! Particularly if you have a carrot at hand!
Browns Cottage is pet friendly and has a fully fenced yard for the cottage to make all guests comfortable and secure. We supply pet bowls(please bring pet bedding)
The Cottage has a well equipped kitchen with all the basics supplied and an electric BBQ. Comfortable lounge area with combustion fire, TV and DVD player. Quality linen and bedding ensures a wonderful nights sleep as you doze off enjoying the ambiance of the flickering fire. The country style bathroom has a step over shower and toiletries are supplied. Front and rear outdoor entertaining options complete the picture for a beautiful mountains escape ~ You won't be disappointed.
Powells Road is one of the districts most beautiful streets. There is an open garden a few properties away with a Cafe'. Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens is a short drive and many "Pick Your Own" orchards and Cellar Doors are also only minutes away. There is a good selection of Cafe's and restaurants to choose from.
Bilpin Resort is a short stroll down the road (about 400mts)and Browns Cottage is the ideal location for guests attending weddings at functions at the resort.

Jonathon L - 11th April 2024We had a great time. The cottage is gorgeous. Cosy, but not small. Lovely views and a nice fire. It is next to the main house, but you don’t feel overlooked as there is plenty of vegetation in between you and the house. The visits at the fence from the friendly sheep were much welcomed too! We loved exploring the area, especially climbing the summit of Mount Banks (and even better was the Mount Banks Wall lookout.) We have visited the mountains multiple times, but this view was breathtaking. The

Jeanette and Cathy were wonderful hosts, clear communication and there for support if we needed anything - and we didn't! The fireplace is a highlight... Bilpin is cute to explore - 5 mins to cafes, about 10mins to ciderys, and 15-20 to the pub and IGA.Get a pie from Grumpy Baker and a cider and pizza from Hillbilly! Definitely recommend a cosy, romantic, comfortable getaway at Browns Cot
